This is where the phrase, "can't give it away on seventh avenue" applies.

Not all employers provide health plans as a benefit and many that do don't pay enough for the employee to afford their share of the monthly premium

I love paper maps, especially when traveling in the hinterlands. Google can take you on some sketchy roads when you get out of metro areas.

Here is my real fear. In a short time span,Trump publicly been made a fool by important people, TACO (the financial world) and now the Ukrainian drone bombings (Zelensky). I can honestly see him doing something very harmful to the nation just so he can attempt to save face.

I really disagree with this article. As an older woman who sees estate sale after estate sale with rooms full of stashed unused fabric, craft supplies, machines, and patterns for sale, I see places like Joann filling landfills per their cheap goods.

I worked for a short time for one of those companies. They offered health insurance but paid so low that no one could afford their share of the premium. The company targeted the 'unemployable'. The management saw themselves as saviors.

People will say, "so what". But what this means is insurance won't cover it for those who DO want to vaccinate their children.

Let's be honest. All true crime television and streaming is nothing but titillation and voyeurism.

Excellent article. At the heart of it is, Democrats really don't understand the working class voter. They spend very little energy understanding the core issues of the working class.

Every person who got photos of the ICE patrol faces and the license plate of the vehicle needs to post them on social media. Expose light on the darkness.
Kudos to the women who stood in front of the car.

I was so impressed by your interview. As a Democrat near the iron range of MN, your fellow Democrats in Congress need to hear your perspective. You represent your District well. If they are trying to a primary you, they're insane to try.

Shorter translation: 'The rest of the world doesn't need us or our goods, so we're caving on tariffs'.

Here's something I never hear anyone talk about. There was a big rush to buy durable goods ahead of the tariffs. Even if the tariffs were lifted today, wouldn't the 'prepurchace' of those goods depress sales in durable goods sectors for multiple years?

His rise in the public eye must be scaring the right because they are posting some nasty ads on YouTube.
Honestly, the campaign couldn't let Tim be Tim because if they did he would have been more popular than Kamala per his common sense, folksy manner combined with being a white male.

If you listen to the whole quote carefully he says the factories will be filled with robots. The employment he's talking about is short term skilled labor, not a return to the long term manufacturing floor worker. It's all smoke and mirrors.

With all respect, Tapper asked the wrong question. He should of asked,
"Explain disconnect between the statement, 'well thought out tariffs' and the fact Trump enacted tariffs on uninhabited islands full of penguins."

Easy for him to say. Millions of retirees who worked hard their whole lives, who have been civic minded, who raised families, who have saved and were fiscally responsible, who took care of their neighbors when needed, are now watching their life's savings being thrown down the toilet of his ego.
