Most news stations actually use the National Weather Service for warnings! Their website isn’t great but it should have any info that would be behind the paywall of a news website! I did check but it doesn’t say anything other than thunderstorms in Texas but I might not be looking in the right spot

Dude has wanted to drop a nuke on *anything* since before he was president and still managed to convince 80 million people he didn’t like dropping bombs on people

The big issue is that the phrase itself discourages interpretation. *Anything* can be a symbol, but if the author is just saying what color the curtains are for the fun of it then what else are they describing for no reason? Why should the reader look for subtext if it’s wasted effort?

Billionaires don’t actually understand or love art. They only see it as a process to produce profit. Unfortunately, truly good art isn’t always profitable so it is far more appealing to them to invest in AI slop that “can’t fail”

I’m not saying that you should scratch it, but be aware that, if one of the door panels gets scratched, the only way to get rid of it is to refinish the entire side

Personally, I enjoy the early volumes but some people claim you can skip 1 and 2. If you have to you can skip Volume 1. At the end of the day, together they’re only like 4 hours of a 60 hour show and you can get through them quickly. You should watch the color trailers that came out before volume 1

It’s still wild to me that I can type something and someone on the other side of the planet can see it and reply.

I like Star Wars but I do think we could use more stories with space wizards but that aren’t *about* space wizards if that makes any sense? Like, I’d love some kind of bounty hunter story pre-empire where a Jedi just shows up and has to be on the crew

I think a big issue is that students either aren’t engaged by the material or don’t want to engage with it. If they don’t want to learn and have a “tool” that does all the work for them so they can have fun then they’ll always prioritize fun.

I used to shower at night when I was in school because I never felt like I had enough time in the mornings but they usually just wake me up and I eventually changed to mornings when could actually wake up early on my own
