Unfortunately, it's the nature of the beast. You can't start to develop a test until the drug already exists so there is no way to avoid a lag time. Frustrating but no real way around it.

In most cases I've seen, this is an issue of a test not being available until a later time. If no test is available at the time, you can't be caught until the test is developed and a stored sample retested, sometimes years later.

Seriously? Whoever thought this was a good idea should be immediately fired.

That's great! The sport needs volunteers to function. Thank you for doing your part.

Took my daughter and a couple of her friends to the NCAA division 1 championship meet yesterday. Got to meet up with their former teammate who now runs for Tennessee and saw some incredible racing. Not sure if this is a brag but it sure was fun!

You bet! Very proud of her commitment and hard work. Very grateful that she and her likewise hard working and dedicated teammates got to reap the fruits of their labor.
Little Switz is right in town but, believe it or not, I don't ski. I'm an uncoordinated runner who would probably break something.

I have a race remaining but it's low key. The only real goal remaining for 2024 is to continue laying a good base for 2025.

Oh boy. After running for years in rural Wisconsin, then years more in Milwaukee and suburbs, what haven't I seen?
- Encountered a bear, just kept running? Yep.
- Dead animals of all kinds? Yep.
- Threatened by skunks, porcupine, geese (they can be vicious), other animals? Yep.

Hey #RunChat! Ryan from Wisconsin. I'm just looking to connect with other runners who love the sport or have an interest to learn more about the sport together.
