These people really want Americans to believe nobody has ever looked under the hood at Social Security and it's been rife with fraud all along. It's insultingly stupid. Generations of Republicans have been champing at the bit to destroy it and have failed because it's successful and beloved.

And for the record, like many others, our office is getting flooded with calls about Musk/DOGE. Virtually none of them positive.

It really does make a difference. A lot of members get call reports at the end of the day/week. If a member doesn't get them personally, their office management definitely do. A few dozen calls or more on a given topic translates into pressure that members and their teams feel directly.
