GC was talking about salting roads and a question popped into my head. I would like to know if salting has any long term effects on humans and the environment. We salt the snow and ice, it melts, turns into saltwater, and that runs off into the soil and/or the fresh water lake. Anyone know?

Art idea: save your school work that you do as a kindergartener in pencil. Hold on to it until you’re old. Then when your old slowly go through and erase everything with a pencil eraser. Probably would work best as a video piece.
