This game sucks. Awful end to a great series.

Dog may be man’s best friend, but after subjecting her to the evils of bathing and brushing, Zuzu can’t even look at me.

For those playing along at home, if you took the over, you were correct.

Over/under 30 percent swing in Republican attitudes on this question?

Article 1 Section 8 (Johnson and Thune version): the president can do whatever he wants and Congress’s job is to just watch

Celebrating the little things today. Like finally hitting 400 citations. 🍻

This development makes Issue 1’s defeat all the more depressing

Woke to an article acceptance. Had to get coffee and a little treat with my coauthor

I pursue my passion for myself. If it just so happens to also be of value to others, that’s just a nice bonus.

“Get back to work!” says the guy who has spent tens of millions of taxpayer dollars on golfing trips for himself.

Does anyone have a favorite text or article they use to teach/exemplify good content analysis?

There was an accident on the interstate, security was a mile long, and I stopped for a sit-down lunch. Yet I’m still at my gate more than two hours before boarding. I’m starting to think I might have a problem.

Happy Father’s Day to everyone who has ever used one of these phrases: I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed. Who let you in here?! Let’s rock and roll. You’re letting the cold air out! Money doesn’t grow on trees! I’m just resting my eyes.

What a disgustingly dark day. Truly sickening.

Look at this tiny angry baby. I love him so much.

I cut 3,500 words from a paper today. It felt a bit like carving a pencil from a redwood.

I’m sure someone else has already noticed this, but Blewett is such a good name for a shitty relief pitcher.

Raise your hand if you’re at all surprised by this. No one? No one? Yeah, that’s what I thought.

Never a dull moment… even when I beg for one.

I was recently gifted this 88 year old copy of an American government textbook. Back when Wyoming’s population was more than double Nevada’s!

I found another one!

It kinda looks like I stepped into the default Microsoft screensaver.

Stumbled upon these beautiful blooming cacti today

This really *is* Liberation Day: The U.S. Court of International Trade this afternoon struck down Trump’s mass tariffs as unlawful. It’s a fantastic win for the rule of law, human freedom, and prosperity, and a deserved rebuke for arbitrary one-man rule over our livelihoods. /1

So apparently there is a third branch of government. Who knew?

Submitting an R&R while it softly rains outside. Very hard to beat.

Zuzu has decided our walk is over. Too bad we’re nowhere near home.

Got some new hardware tonight and a free dinner. So that’s cool.

Not a single worry (or thought) in that pretty little head

I just keep laughing at the oxymoron that is “woke pope.”

Made a new friend today

In a shocking turn of events, it is now May.

Look at this magnificent creature perched outside my office window.

Had a student say they think I would be an excellent drag queen. Not sure I’ll ever receive a better compliment.

What’s important is that whoever replaces Durbin remembers that he had full sized candy bars for people who visited his office. Gotta keep that up.

It’s almost like he never should have had the job in the first place.

Everyone knows that when you need to expand your numbers, the first thing you’re supposed to do is form a circular firing squad.

Ah. Thanks, Jesse. I’ve been sitting *in front* of the screen. Now I know why I’ve been stuck as a man.
