This really *is* Liberation Day: The U.S. Court of International Trade this afternoon struck down Trump’s mass tariffs as unlawful. It’s a fantastic win for the rule of law, human freedom, and prosperity, and a deserved rebuke for arbitrary one-man rule over our livelihoods. /1

I am ever hopeful that we avoid the same issues on a local, regional and provincial level - we are pretty ok for the next while with a minority government. Fingers crossed.

Hopefully whoever collects the tariffs gives Trump the finger and forces them to sue. To your point they’d probably just fire them and install lackeys leading the states to go to court and on and on and on
