The recent rise (or perhaps just the newly frank avowal) of left antifeminism has really underscored for me the radicalism of the feminist demand: an end to the one hierarchy so fundamental that even the most bold and progressive thinkers can’t imagine a future without it.

President Donald Trump downplayed his involvement in invoking the Alien Enemies Act of 1789 to deport Venezuelan migrants, saying for the first time that he hadn't signed the proclamation, even as he stood by his administration's move.

Doocy: The judge wants to know why the proclamation was signed in the dark Trump: I don’t know when it was signed. I didn’t sign it. Other people handled it.

This threatens to upend decades of progress and hard-won reforms that strive to protect our nation’s most vulnerable students from neglect and discrimination.

You can avoid getting hoodwinked like this in the future by remembering that modern conservatism has no universal principles. Whether they're for or against something depends entirely on who the beneficiary/victim is

Zelensky found out what it was like to be a US governor in a blue state asking Trump for medical supplies during the pandemic. Or disaster relief after a wildfire or storm. It’s not his money, but he fully expects you to beg and plead for it and tell him how wonderful he is.

Hey man sorry to hear about all your political turmoil. Would it help if I scrolled around on the computer all day and drove myself insane?

Absolutely hate “we went too far” revisionist history. “We all believed women and it went too far.” No we did not all believe women. I was there

Child allowances, free public universities, and public health insurance provision are not "hand-outs"; they are smart social policies that countries that aren't deeply dysfunctional and cruel provide their citizens because they make everything (including the economy) better.

all she did was exist

“If Adam Picked the Apple” by Danielle Coffyn Love this. Reminds me of “If Men Could Menstruate” by Gloria Steinem

There is truly nothing worse than being away from home. Away from my items, which are like family to me
