They'll probably get some buyers, but not millions

No more live chats? You and Skanda are the main reason I still have the X app.

It struggled to reopen post COVID but I'm so glad it survived.

Aw man, this is a great lineup, sorry to miss. Always a good time at Grandpa's! I'll be at a Cub Scouts campout, probably the least transit-accessible destination in my life.

Founder of Morningstar. If he thinks this project is a good risk, I'll trust him.

Dude, no. Better transit = more people at bars, safely. Food delivery is a luxury.

Are we fact-checking Love Actually?

... though this would support the case for building the tunnel!

Fact check: likely true.

@steveliesman.bsky.social - mentoring opportunity?

Too soon. Lots of inventory stockpiling to build a buffer, and no retailer wants to be the first to raise prices. I'm watching food (can't stockpile) and cars (separate tariff action).

Really? I'm a big EV believer but must admit they're not ready for the demanding use of police patrol.

Most relatable thing I've heard yet from this administration staff

If Illinois gets to claim "Land of Lincoln" then these guys qualify by the same permissive definition

The Nintendo Zapper would still work on that. Fire up Duck Hunt!

Not even a good message! Say that you're looking out for main street over Wall Street. Or argue that presidents don't control stock markets (which would let you wave off the great returns under Biden). If you're explaining, you're losing.

Formerly Inter-Continental Exchange. Reminds me of when the show Archer had to change their fictional detective agency name from ISIS.

Ziploc bags can and should be reused. A gallon bag will fit any size bread.

I've been recommending Chaotic Neutral among friends. Clearly Whitmer hasn't read it.

Easy gambit for Korea, for which we already have an FTA.

Coffee went up due to a bad harvest. File it under climate risk. Tariffs are going to make it worse.
comment in response to post
No. That would be services trade, and the tariff actions are only about goods. A game printed on a DVD would be subject to the tariffs.
comment in response to post
Trump signed a partial FTA with Japan in his first term! Takes some real gymnastics with FX rates to allege they're charging us 46%.

We got our first EV in November when it was clear those tax credits would be cut. I was not expecting all this on top of it.

The train home can be overcrowded, but think of that as part of the experience. You're among friends.

Why bother with a survey when you guys have given this years of thought already, and even offer free map design?

I am a lifelong Illinois resident. You have been my senator longer than I have been eligible to vote...and I am now in my forties! That is too long. Please retire. Thank you for your service but now we need a fighter, and that is not you.

I recommend "Chaotic Neutral" by Ed Burmila. Dems keep losing, and moving right, and losing, and moving further right.

This is WSJ, typically more conservative so less of a surprise to see.
