Great first catch up show! Was awesome to hear you and Tory reminisce and get the behind the scenes scoop. Do you guys plan on bringing in all the different people that worked on the show as guests? Also, would it be possible to hear a Grant story each episode?

This looks like a fun game. How about this one?

If you haven’t already read the robot novels by Isaac Asimov I’d highly recommend, they’re some of the first ones of the genre.

These are children playing at being adults. Deplorable that so many voted for their own destruction.

I thought you also were talking about cars too haha. Dogs are amazing no matter the breed, I don’t know why anyone makes a big deal about it, the best anyone can do is just give them all the love you have to give for the short time they’re on the planet with us 😊

I disagree, that’s just smart. I’ve never understood the desire for luxury vehicles, they all seem like suckers to me.

You started with a really fun one, would highly recommend the Murderbot diaries if you’re looking for some more scifi.

I don’t get that behavior from people at all. We have a purebred pup but only because we had very specific needs to be met. We love all dogs regardless of their pedigree, all they want is to love and be loved, it doesn’t need to be more complicated than that.

I don’t get why people draw this conclusion that purebreds can’t be goofy and a little nuts. Our little gal is goofy and silly, makes us laugh all the time with her antics. Your frenchie is adorable.

The lack of nuance in this thread is sad. There is room for all dogs especially when some people have very specific needs to be met. My partner has a disability and we couldn’t afford the $40-50k for the pup they truly need. Our little cavalier has been the most amazing girl for us.

This is the only reason we got a pure bred, my partner has a disability and our living situation is also quite specific, so we needed a perfect fit for us. One big problem is when people get them for status and don’t realize the inherent health problems that come from their genetics.

When a loved one of hers dies I wonder what her tune will be then. Seems some can only understand and have empathy when the exact thing happens in their own life.

Glad to know I’m not the only one who feels that way.

I like engagement. When a writer posts regularly and never engaged with those responding to their posts I find it a bit rude. I realize that the more followers one gets that that can become an impossibility, but I’m talking about ones who aren’t in that category.

Could not get behind this movie for many reasons. The biggest one for me was that there were no real likeable characters and guns don’t have unlimited clips in them.

The way it deviates from the books doesn’t feel like it takes anything away, more that it sort of is its own thing. The way he fantasizes about being in the show was a great little addition I thought.

I’ll drive down to Portland to join in, we’re all looking to our south neighbors with dread, but also hope that this time will be over sooner rather than later.

I’m not going to say a bunch of insults that you probably won’t read anyway. I had thought you were a decent and honorable person who believed in the truth. Now you’re hawking what amounts to propaganda for a regime that is destroying your country. I hope that somewhere inside of you there is shame.

Great read, however the one fact that makes me 💯 believe it was faked is that he doesn’t talk about it. If it had been real he would have never shut up about it. He doesn’t because they don’t want it to be scrutinized any more than it has been.

And I should add, you’ve got an amazing eye for photography, just beautiful shots every time.

Yes! That’s why it does feel like I’ve seen it, because I have. That picture of Baker you posted a little bit ago is amazing, any picture I’ve ever taken never does it justice. Love that you’re able to capture the true beauty of this place.

I was reading up on him and that’s a condition that he deals with called ‘nystagmus’ involuntary movement of the eyes. Definitely makes him very compelling to watch.

I forget which book it was, SciFi perhaps, but the notion in it was that a president wasn’t elected, they were selected. The right person for the job was hired for a limited time to manage things and that was all. They didn’t want the job, but once hired had to fulfill it.

It’s rare to see an adaptation done as well as this, which I believe is owed to how well you’ve written the characters and made us visualize it. I will definitely be sharing the gospel of Murderbot so that everyone I know hears about it and hopefully watches it too.

I agree completely, although there are some that have abused this to the extreme, a rather famous author, he should write another book, ‘Game of Never Finishing’.
