Thing I learned (though it might have just been my laptop): port placement is actually important. My mic and capture card did not like being moved to different ports, really threw everything into chaos.

Restarting worked! Everything is back to normal, running through the early parts of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for a few hours as a test run!

How gard is the learning curve for MH games? The only exposure I have is a demo I downloaded on the 3DS for a day, but I am interested in getting into them with the new game.
