Depriving people of sleep is one of the most effective ways to incapacitate them. Most of the time there's perfectly legal ways of doing it, too. Or at the worst, ways which take only a moment to accomplish but are still extremely effective at waking someone up with an adrenaline dump

Yup, 4:40pm tomorrow—right now I’m jet lagged to hell and waiting for ‘dinner’ (idk how many meals I’ve had since I got up at a time I refuse to calculate) before I finally collapse… but I’ll be up stupid early? And probably very ready to stay out a little late tomorrow…

I wish I could actually stay—we had an awesome trip to AK like 3(?) years ago but this one is just in for the conference and home (kid has a stupid school schedule where they expect him to SHOW UP! The gall!)
