Yeah, this is a horrible disaster that could unfold—please call your reps to tell them you don’t want US science funding cut—it is our broad-based science spending that has made the US such a science & tech powerhouse, which has also raised our economy, productivity & life expectancy… even Rs care

Must do this while simultaneously knowing we can’t win every battle, but we mustn’t concede anything until we are truly beaten. It’s hard, I won’t lie. But hope is a discipline, as Mariame Kaba @prisonculture.bsky.social says. Now is the time to build strength & train ourselves to be disciplined.
