I come from a family of programmers, and while I can only write baby code, I am still deeply and personally offended that this "tech giant" doesn't understand COBOL. Maybe instead of violating the terms of his student visa, he should have actually gone to a few classes.

Nope, never thought it would do this. This is totally expected results. Why people aren't banging down the doors of the Texas State House over this is beyond me.

Dear DOGE, I want Americans employed and contributing to the economy by being able to take care of themselves. Rehire our federal workforce and keep your $8 check. Then disband because your entire existence is a constitutional violation. Thanks!

Literacy is activism. Reading is a political act. Books are tools for liberation.

And I am an ally. If you are too, let the world know.

The concentration of wealth in the hands of an elite few isn't just bad for our economy. It's corrosive to our democracy. When the wealthy and well-connected control our political system, the American people don't have a voice. The result is demagoguery and corruption.

Ha! IF you can handle the traffic, just remember we were the first colony to reject a king. We are ready to do it again.

Folks, they are trying to tell us they are fascists. Can we just start believing them?

I feel like the President of Poland might have a comment or two about the lie that Ukraine started the war and about the US allying itself with Russia.

Thousands of people have lost their job in the name of "efficiency," but *lon is raking it in, and *rump is wasting money on this crap. Meanwhile, egg and coffee prices keep going up.

👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 A perfect example of the justice system working for the American people! apnews.com/article/dei-...

Is this the party of "states' rights" threatening the Governor of Maine?

Did the DOJ miss the 1st Amendment in their reading of the Constitution?

In future generations, when your children and grandchildren look back on this moment, they are not going to ask about the price of eggs. They are going to ask you what you did. Not what you felt. Not what you paid. But what you did. And I want to be able to say I did everything I possibly could.

30 days to realign the US with Russia and solidify his title as Putin's puppet.

Last night MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell said Trump was the first U.S. president to “switch sides during a war.” That aptly describes Trump’s betrayal but it can’t begin to convey the depravity of what Trump did in throwing our ally overboard and lying about every facet of Putin’s criminal aggression.

Things that made me happy this morning (aka not the news)... trackless x-country skking on icy snow.

It is clearer and clearer that many of the uber wealthy support *rump so they could undo worker protections and discriminate against certain customers, especially those with disabilities.

Indeed. The Supreme Court gave the President a carte blanche (unless Congress does its job and removes this clown), but Secretaries who violate the law do not have that protection - nor should they!

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is working to reverse the “accidental” firing of several employees responding to an avian influenza outbreak. While the CDC says the public risk is low, the crisis is hitting the agriculture sector hard, driving egg prices to record highs.

Anti-abortion advocates’ furious reaction to Trump’s IVF order—which does not actually do anything!—is a good reminder of how extreme and bizarre their movement’s ideology truly is. They claim to speak for a majority, but most Americans don’t believe this stuff! It’s total fringe lunacy.

If a few more GOP leaders could find their spine, now is the time.

Every day, federal workers are proud to care for our veterans, deliver Social Security checks, keep our communities safe, and work in countless other ways to serve the public. They make the government work for working people, and America’s unions stand with them in solidarity.

Does anyone else think the IVF protection EO is a precursor to an EO banning abortion or establishing fetal personhood?

I cannot wait for Justices Alito and Thomas to somehow figure out a way to agree with this EO because you just know they are both capable of that level of insanity.

Jim Acosta: I think the AP should consider whether or not to sue the administration… and the rest of the press corps should start seriously considering whether it’s worth sending everyone into the Oval Office, onto Air Force One, or into the briefing room.

Real people are losing their jobs. If you are an "economic" voter, it is time to recognize that the President and his regime are driving up unemployment and, as a result, harming the US economy. They are actively making people poorer, which never ever "saves" the government money; it costs more.

Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, Fetal Personhood is about more than abortion, It's about pregnancy criminalization too! Check out our new fact sheet on Fetal Personhood: whonotwhen.com/s/Fetal-Pers...

This story is horrible. Right now the Boston Globe has an article about *rump voters in MA being "so far so good" with this regime. How long will that last?

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general. If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

We need the Courts to stop this stat since Congress is apparently okay with a billionaire rifling through our tax returns.

I feel this way every morning. Then I open the news, and it gets worse.

This is fascism.

You might have missed it, but Amazon warehouse workers in Raleigh, NC are voting this week on whether to form a union. If they win, they'll be the first unionized Amazon facility in the South. Remember that we can always find hope in the labor movement.

Good thing there have been no serious wild fires lately. 🤦🏻‍♀️

We are so lucky to have @repmcgovern.bsky.social in Congress right now.

There would not have been Stonewall without trans people. This is erasure by those who are scared of love, joy, and people being their true selves. Hate will not win.

Which circle of hell would Dante have put someone who steps up his involvement in deportations and breaking up families all to keep himself out of prison for crimes he very, very much committed?

So grateful for @massago.bsky.social for her clear message and understanding of the law, attributes sorely lacking in the current White House.
