72 years old; pro-democracy, anti-fascist; I hate Nazis. Can't stand seeing the Constitution shredded by an obviously deranged individual. Remembering the 60's is the antidote to fascism. Putin is an existential threat.

DOGE has done irreparable damage to the country, and I’m worried about what more will happen. But in some ways, it’s the dog that caught the car. There just isn’t the waste in government that they claimed, and now that they’re trying to do something beyond complain, the ruse is being revealed.

Unfortunately for the farmers, I seriously doubt they'll be getting any help this time when the tariffs destroy them. The USAID and other cancelled contracts are already hitting and the tariffs are going to finish them. There's going to be a LOT of pissed off Trumpers.

If you want to call your member of Congress to encourage them to hold a live, in-person town hall this week, the number to the Capitol switchboard is (202) 224-3121.

But if that’s the case, they should then be open to hearing from their constituents who might have some of the answers and who are very willing to work with them in the fight now in front of us.

Some are probably afraid to do this because they don’t have a solid plan for how to confront the most corrupt administration in American history. That’s understandable — this is an unprecedented time and they are clearly scrambling to figure out a strategy.

Telephone town halls, social media posts, performing outside of locked federal buildings won’t cut it.

Given what is happening in the country and around the world right now, we should have a chance to hear from them, share ideas with them, hold them accountable, work with them and remind them who it is they serve.
