Literally all he did was quote someone. Defining criticism of the government as treason is what authoritarians do. Turning a publicly funded news outlet into a state media propaganda machine is what authoritarians do.

Finished Cobra Kai during this business trip. They did a really nice job of tying things together in the end in a way which made sense. Definitely got a little goofy before that, but in a fun way.

Seems like with deferrals the Bregman deal is more like 3/90 in present value which makes more sense. Wish we could get to a point where we only talked about present value but players and teams want the deals to seem bigger than they are.

Pivetta's deal ends up being 2/24, 3/38 or 4/55 depending on if/when he opts out. I guess none of those are terrible but definitely seems like he should have taken the QO for $21M and tried free agency next year.

The U.S. #NationalWeatherService, housed within #NOAA, is a truly world-class meteorological predictive service, perhaps singularly so. It costs only ~$3/yr per taxpayer, & yields ~10:1 return on investment--saving economy 10s-100s of billions, not to mention thousands of lives.
