With more and more agencies and states refusing to provide accurate identification to our community, or outright seizing documents without cause, it's more important than ever to do what we can to protect ourselves.
And there's no such thing as being too prepared.

Keep a hi-res scanned copy somewhere you can easily get to from your phone as well (in a secure online backup). Have access to anything you could ever need at all times.
If requested to provide your ID to an official gov't office, give a copy where possible instead of allowing them to make one.

When you’re in no position to change your environment directly, there’s only one thing to do, keep doing what you’re good at doing and stay calm.
However: I think now is a great time to mention that the KEEP CALM poster was part of a series and it’s just as valid today as it was in WWII…

I downloaded everything (mine + my faves) when the official ban was first made. When the Trump pop up happened, I changed my bio on TT, FB, and IG to include my new Bsky handle, and uninstalled everything.
If I need them for whatever, I can log in on a comp, but I haven't felt the urge.

Like others have said, Goods Unite Us is an excellent resource, BUT it isn't foolproof! For example, it shows Amazon as blue leaning but we all know not to shop there. I'm not sure if it's just the dataset they use or how frequently it gets updated, but take everything with a grain of salt.

I'm evaluating what self defense items to keep on my person, in my car, and in my home. My trusty baseball bat doesn't feel adequate anymore.
