ELF22 gives us more than tactics.
It gives us a framework.
A way to design systems that don’t just ban bad actors—but strengthen community response.
That’s digital resilience.

You don’t need to be an expert.
Just knowing what to look for makes you harder to manipulate.
It helps you protect others.
And it chips away at the fog meant to keep us from acting.
Study the playbook.
Stay human.

This thread is part of a bigger public education effort.
We’re building a toolkit to help people:
→ Understand how disinformation works
→ Stay emotionally grounded
→ Defend truth without burning out
Because this propaganda weapon is designed to wear you down.

So what do you do?
Arm yourself with awareness.
When you read the comments or scroll your feed:
🔸 Look for the patterns
🔸 Don’t feed the bait
🔸 Don’t boost panic
🔸 Screenshot, archive, block
Clarity is resistance.

⚠️ Fearmongers
→ Push fake threats or hoaxes
→ Claim protestors are armed, violent, foreign
→ Share AI-faked videos or edited screenshots
→ Goal: panic, paralysis, distrust
📌 They want to make you freeze, not think

🕹️ Hashtag Gamers
→ Don’t care about the issue — they care about reach
→ Hijack trending tags to inject spam, porn, crypto, or disinfo
→ Flood the zone so you can’t follow updates or mobilize
📌 Look for accounts using 10+ tags, off-topic images, or shock memes

📰 News Feed Trolls
→ Mimic local news orgs
→ Share real videos with false or inflammatory captions
→ Frame events as out-of-control war zones
→ Undermine trust in real journalism
📌 “Breaking: Campus Siege!!” with blurry footage and no sourcing

🟦 Left Trolls
→ Pose as social justice voices — but often hijack movements
→ Amplify hopelessness (“protests don’t work”)
→ Spread division (“your allies betrayed you”)
→ Promote silence, withdrawal, or infighting
📌 Look for radical tone without real organizing links

🟥 Right Trolls
→ Pose as U.S. patriots, veterans, “anti-woke” voices
→ Push MAGA, “antifa terrorist,” or “lawless campus” narratives
→ Amplify state violence as “necessary” or “deserved”
📌 These accounts often use flag emojis, military bios, and meme formats

The Trump regime is manufacturing a crisis — and backing it with a troll network
We’ve seen this playbook before:
→ Clamp down on dissent
→ Weaponize “law & order” narratives
→ Flood platforms with noise, fake claims, and performative outrage
It’s not organic. It’s strategy.

Oh Marc, I am soooo sorry for your loss. It’s very, very difficult. Take the time to grieve and also- he is always there in Spirit.

There is no doubt that Trump and Noem's actions here are that of an authoritarian; using the federal government to blow a hole in Harvard's budget and punish thousands of students who have done nothing wrong just because they don't like Harvard.
Our country is in crisis.
