Thank you Dee! Yeah they’re using all the alternative options and thank god there are free ones to help! I feel like it’d be so nice for those who cant accept affiliate to be “validated” in another sense without impacting their livelihoods 3;

Yeah my friends are trying to utilise all the possible alternatives to increase their interactivity with chat, but I think there’s also a level of “validation” they feel lacking with the current Twitch rules, as in you have to accept monetisation if you become affiliate and they are not allowed to

valued, included and enabled to create even more? Why do they have to go the extra steps to make things work when life is already hard enough? Even if it works in different ways, or is more limited than Affiliates - a way to validate their hard work would mean so much; (4/5)

for affiliate status due to life circumstances, despite meeting requirements. I'm aware that alternatives exists for channel points & emotes - but why not something built into the platform? what can be done to better support disabled content creators & make them feel more (3/5)

them from having access to certain Twitch features -albeit limited access. I know many disabled content creators who work so so hard to bring joy to others, yet to a lot of viewers, their channels are seen as less "valid" just because they cant apply (2/5)
