Alléluia!

Yup. He hopes to do it to Canada.

What can’t people just say "it’s a lie"? Why does he feel the need to say "it’s a ‘false’ statement". I’m not specifically mad at him, but in general, can we just call a spade a spade instead of using euphemisms that make these people seem less evil than they are?

😳 Will never unsee it either.

Poor little soul. I want to cry and scream at the same time.

Interviewers should just respond now with "If you’re not interested in answering any questions and just want to use this platform [to parrot talking points/as a propaganda tool], then we will end this here." and then just cut them off. FFS. Enough is enough of not answering questions.

Pretty sure it was a Toyota Prius C. They’re very common in Montreal (where this was filmed).

The show was amazing right down to all the small details and nods like this one.

Again, she does NOT decide who is allowed in Canada. That is federal jurisdiction. I agree that he will likely be cleared before BUT Feds can deny entry to anyone at ANY time. Also, this decision is very political and will be decided by the next federal government not by Smith.

Does the constitutional distribution of legislative powers ring a bell? These are things she is allowed to do under her provincial jurisdiction.

People on private jets go through customs and border security too, you know. Checks are done by agents at the port of arrival. This is highly regulated. Again, Smith does not decide who gets to land and stay in Canada.

How about a “I didn’t vote for 47” cap for all US visitors to Canada? So we can identify you and treat you as nicely as we do our friends?
comment in response to post
The fact that Smith is preparing for his visit doesn’t mean that Border agents (federal) won’t deny him entry. She has no power over who comes in the country. But of course she wants him there so she’s preparing accordingly + will make next fed gov look bad if they refuse him (which Tories won’t).

Exactly. He wants our resources for free. Basically wants to get to treat us like his business partners… take, take, take and then never make his payments.

🤣🤣🤣 I feel like I haven’t seen this much snow in Mtl since the 80s!
comment in response to post
Most of them were already there this year. But there have been many articles in Cdn media about snowbirds putting their properties up for sale or just packing up and leaving early this year.

Oh wait, what? That’s not the burn you think it is in the actual democratic world. Our next PM will soon be duly elected after a democratic process that is NOT plagued by big corporate money from billionaire oligarchs. Good luck to you, Cool Aid man😘

You DO know the last trade deal we signed with the US was negotiated by… [check notes]… none other than your beloved Trump. I totally agree that HE is mentally ill.

Keep drinking the Cool Aid, man.

« Semantic games »😆 Tell me you don’t understand economics without telling me you don’t understand economics.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

🤦🏻‍♀️What the 🍊🤡 is calling subsidies is a TRADE DEFICIT. It’s because you import more from us than we import from you. You are getting aluminum, steel, wood, oil, gas, etc. in return. Stuff that you don’t make enough of to support your production. Stop taking the Cool Aid. He’s manipulating to you.

Canada… but we live above a seemingly out-of-control meth lab.😕

They are a parasite class for the people who dream of privatizing everything the government does.
