because the first book was her child and the rest were mostly paychecks, if anything i totally disagree with you because some of the best concepts come up after it, its just that the worst ones also come after it

they didn't do anything wrong in the US, literally nothing, the problem is that the more influential the internet culture of a country is (america is the most, i think) the more you'll see that kids and teens dont wanna watch short videos in the same account thats followed by their entire family

some day people will put their ego aside and understand that we humans are circumstance. biological advantage? circumstance, the skills you're proud of? wouldn't have learned them if you were surrounded by different people, etc etc

it made me realize how horrible most people's use of "ignorance" is. i've seen so many tweets saying people who don't know the odyssey were "ignorant", they ignored what? the school class he didn't want to pay attention to as a kid?

plenty of people were like "we're not all taught american literature", which is a dumb thing to say, but... there IS people who don't read it in school, i was given the illiad but was only told about the odyssey, then never heard about it again, was i one step from being stupid?

this one cracked me up because i could predict the replies: 50% bots, 10% some boomers saying "right" or something similar, 15% people saying that's stupid but then like 25% trying to solve it or point mistakes having long ass threads about it

have you actually read it or you're just trolling? the characters are engineered to be happy so it's the very simple question of, would that be fine in our world? would it be fine when it'd require to alienate more people, creating x10 times more zones of interests that we have already?

if you've seen Mr. Robot, more or less every lonely IT guy thinks somewhat like the protagonist of that show, less violent of course but there's this tendency of thinking a lot about "how to solve the world"

el mundo siempre ha sido una mierda, naciste en una epoca donde es facil enterarse lo mierda que es. es bueno ser consciente pero no a costa de tu felicidad, no serás feliz cambiando al mundo sino a las personas que te rodean

i assume twitter was like that for a few years before people started speaking serious matters for real. so it makes sense for an "indie" site like this to be the replacement, nobody's gonna take meta seriously ever
