Yeah I’ve been kind of doing the same, which also helps for savoring every little morsel too instead of just plowing through (which some SW books are very quick reads in that regard). There’s lots to digest for sure.

Definitely recommend Alphabet Squadron! It takes a little time to set up/develop, but Victory’s Price is one of my all time favorite SW novels. Happy reading to you as well.

It’s easy to take this movie for granted (and I have at times) but the amount of world-building that Lucas is able to do in one film without a ton of exposition (excepting Kenobi’s hut) is frankly astonishing.

Yeah I was very pleased with the two things we found. I wasn’t expecting it because there were zero SW options in the catalog they sent home, so it was a pleasant surprise to be sure (but a welcome one).

I think purposely trying to appeal to fans is dangerous if you’re actually trying to make art. I’m a professional musician, it’s how I make my living. But the very last thing I think about is how my stuff will “sell.” I make the art that I think I should make; others are free to like it or not.

I’ve always thought that fans should have absolutely zero influence in the creative process in any piece of art. The rule of mob law is terrible in most situations but it’s especially brutal when it comes to something creative.

It’s in my top three for sure; oddly enough I feel like the show is actually underrated by the fandom at large, for some reason. I hope this is just the beginning for all these arcs.
