It's a new social media platform where the algorithm is supposedly the opposite of Facebook: hostile and inflammatory content gets reduced visibility, and civil discussion is promoted. Or so I gather. I just heard about it yesterday.

I'd sure hope so. I'd hate to imagine that we convict healthcare workers when patients die in their care without very good reason.

And did that note mention anything about babies, or might it have referred to something else entirely? I only ask because the police once confiscated my journals when I was about 15, in which I described shooting up the school, even though I never had any intention of doing it.

Based on your extensive knowledge of the podcast, is there any chance that she's not guilty, and someone else was responsible for the insulin? Or perhaps that she was responsible for the insulin, but it was a mistake made by an overworked nurse in an understaffed hospital?

And then what?

K. If someone was shot, and another person was found in the vicinity of the body, that's not enough to convict, especially if there's no evidence that they ever handled the murder weapon. It sounds like people just want closure, and don't really care about justice.

See, I'm not going to do that, because I've recently spoken to someone who listened to 60 episodes of the podcast and was unable to tell me about a single piece of evidence. And since that's the case, I kinda suspect that the podcast might be a waste of time.

Because I can't find anything about actual evidence. That's why I keep asking where it is.

As I understand it, there was no forensic evidence and no eyewitnesses. No one ever saw Letby commit a crime. Also, the deaths coincided with a spike in infant mortality in Britain. Also, the hospital was extremely short-staffed. So how is she guilty?

Isn't there like zero evidence that she actually did it, aside from her being present when they died (kinda comes with the job of being a nurse) and her feeling bad about their deaths (kinda comes with the job of being a nurse)?

I'm an American, but I do this the British way because it's the way that makes sense.

Or to understand that there was no control group, or a small sample size, or non-significant results, or that it failed to replicate, or that it was retracted, or that it was paid for by the corporation who benefits from a positive result, or ...

Don't watch shorts ever on any platform. It's a trap.

The real travesty of trans athletes competing with cis athletes is that the only reason sports are gender-segregated to begin with is to protect men from losing to women.
