Small business owners which include farmers are the group that drive economies. Who else invests and risks it all in order to make a living. Workers and especially politicians never loose money by showing up to work. Don’t get me wrong they may fall behind if wages don’t keep up to inflation …

Comments regarding tariffs suggest American farmers should grow oats, bly, canola and wht and not import Cdn grain at all. They are more than welcome to but the reason they don’t is everyone grows their most profitable crop. In the USA it is corn and soybeans. That’s the basic principle of trade.
