Got the hot tip from a local that the best way to beat Bangkok traffic (which is arguably worse than LA's) is to travel the city by boat! It's also one of the least expensive ways to get around other than bus! Paid 14 baht or .41 USD to travel five stops!

On our hike we learned how to cook w bamboo utensils. Seeing the generational divide between tourist men was 😅. Older men (50yrs+) either didn't know how or refused outright to help with cooking. Younger men regardless of skill volunteered or were easily nudged by our guides (all men) to help.

Hearing from Thai pple that Americans are not the most annoying tourists they interact with has been surprisingly gratifying 😂😅 There's been some interesting behavior by pple visiting from places that LOVE to complain about us. Very curious if they act like this when visiting Euro countries too 🙃
