If someone wanted to destroy the United States from within, would they do anything differently than what Trump is doing right now?

firing for "too much DEI" is plainly firing a woman and a Black man on the presumption only white men can be qualified. this is disgusting biogtry.

So they removed the black chairman of the Joint Chiefs in the middle of his 4-year tour, without cause, and they're seeking to replace him with a white **retired** Air Force three-star general who lacks the requisite experience as a service chief or combatant commander? Huh, how about that

Pay attention to this. Replacing JAGs with loyalists enables whatever orders Trump and Hegseth issue to be interpreted as lawful.

Sure Trump fired the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and the CNO....but they fired the top JAG's in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Why would you fire the top lawyers in the armed services at night on a Friday? That's the part you should be freaking out about.

So let's get this straight: The U.S. and Elon are now extorting Ukraine and threatening to turn off their Starlink Internet access unless they give their critical rare earth minerals to the United States? Staggering levels of corruption.

Turns out the Dow doesn’t love it

The poster child for white male mediocrity, Pete Hegseth, is firing qualified Black men and women from the military.

My new favorite drug is Republican members of Congress getting yelled at in their districts by constituents who hate Musk.

Here in Illinois, ten years ago we saw the consequences of a rampant ideological gutting of government. It genuinely harmed people. Our citizens hated it. Trust me – I was elected based in part on just how much they hated it.

Garcia: The fact that the Trump DOJ now wants to silence members of Congress because we’re actually willing to take on Elon Musk is quite dangerous. It’s incredibly disturbing. But we’re not going to be silenced. We’ve got to push back.

listen to this. Elon can barely form a sentence right now.

They’re going to try and prosecute their political enemies

According to ProPublica, dozens more pregnant and postpartum women have died in Texas hospitals since abortion bans were implemented, compared with maternal deaths in the state immediately before the pandemic.

I will use every tool at my disposal to protect this country from Trump. I will litigate to defend voting rights until there are no cases left to bring. I will speak out against authoritarianism until my last breath. I will not back down. I will not bow or scrape. I will never obey.

The White House is a full-time Kremlin propaganda operation..there's a real probability American troops are going to have fight abroad to protect the global world order & our allies & perhaps American sovereignty itself"

Good morning and Happy Thursday to everyone who agrees with General Milley that Americans do not owe our allegiance to a King, Queen, or a wannabe dictator. We owe our allegiance to the Constitution. Fuck the nonsense trump says about being a king.

To help homes survive more intense disasters, FEMA has been developing recommendations for stronger building codes. The Trump Administration has pulled them back.

It’s that second part

Overheard at my local Foxtail Coffee: “Voting for him [Trump] was the biggest fucking mistake of my life.” No idea what drove him to say that, but whatever it was, I can’t feel much sympathy. So many Trump supporters are fine with other people getting hurt, and only get upset when they’re impacted.

This idiot is buying into the lies. 🙄

Can anyone even think of a legitimate reason for him to get this? Can anyone even proffer an argument that it won't lead to grave abuses and violations of privacy? wapo.st/3QizwcN

All the more reason to post it as often as you can.

Not flying...

My grandfathers didn’t fight the Nazis so some future American Vice President could cozy up to a bunch of far-right, Holocaust distorting politicians in Germany. This is truly pathetic.

Money talks

This is catastrophically dangerous. We’re all paying a price because Republicans let Elon Musk recklessly fire the people who help prevent nuclear disasters. "Trump administration officials fired more than 300 staffers at the NNSA — the agency tasked with managing the nation’s nuclear stockpile."

Meanwhile, so much for “free speech” over at The Bad Place.

Listen up, you star-spangled dipshits… because while you were telling me to “cry harder” for the bazillionth time today cuz I have the nerve to care about kids with cancer… THEY “ACCIDENTALLY” FIRED THE PEOPLE WHO OVERSEE OUR NUCLEAR STOCKPILE. Wake the fuck up dumbfucks.

Alice Weidel referred to Germany’s Holocaust Remembrance as a “guilt cult” less than two weeks ago. Shame on the Vice President for meeting with her.

Good Night #Bluesky friends! Wishing peaceful slumbers to you. 💙 🦋

We should have told them.

"nobody even knows where the [national debt] money went and you’re not allowed to ask." Huh? Its all public record at OMB, CBO, & Treasury websites, which I've also used to publish 600 reports, articles, & chart books specifying where all the money went. You can log off Twitter and go look it up!

If you read one thing today read our latest piece we just posted. This one is a very important one. Please consider reading and sharing it with your friends, family, and neighbors. And as always, please share your thoughts and ideas. I am also going to post all of the text here as a thread. 1/

Dear Global Friends, We know how you feel. We get it. We don’t recognize these people holding power either. We don’t recognize them as legitimate expressions of our values or principles as Americans. Thank you for voicing your disapproval and opposition. Signed, A concerned American
