I actually don't mind it. You learn very early on in maps that deaths are very punishing, and it really feels like I have to earn the ability to go up the tiers. I know that there are a lot of different types of players, but I guess I fall into the exact type of player this works for, lol.

Half of the aunties here in the Philippines (and literally everywhere else I know) will happily teach this game to anyone for nothing but the cost of your time, and letting them passive-aggressively shuffle the tiles for you when you take too long.

It is! I picked it up when it was on gamepass for a while this year and was impressed by how fun the writing was.
There's not a ton of combat, and it's mostly going around puzzle-solving, but the writing is a lot of fun and I think the world is really unique. I hope you have a good time with it!

It's so good! And I love how they designed the characters to feel so appropriate to their specific power fantasy. Like, playing Spider-Man and being able to just go around the map swing kicking people and webbing them up is so great.
