You know. I think the disconnect is that Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss is created by someone who grew up in a time where fandoms would have crack ships, pwp fanfics, and when nerds didn't gaf about being "cringe". So the younger audience just...doesn't get it. I don't know how else to describe it.
