IMPD: we are understaffed Also IMPD: we sit 6 cruisers deep in empty church parking lots at noon on thursdays

This guy got more time behind bars for arson than drunk hit and run drivers got for actually killing people

The B&O Trail isn't even open yet and this guy was out with a bag and grabbers cleaning up litter! The duck further up the trail in the ditch was surely appreciative, I know I was too!

“I’m an avid cyclist but...” Exactly the problem. We don’t need infrastructure just for avid cyclists, we need it for those new and/or apprehensive riders who are terrified of riding through their cities.

"Did anyone see where I put my coffee?", I say to a house that only has a 3 and 1 year old in it.

I am about to ride my bike into the city for a baseball game, please Weed Bunny Jesus don't let me end up on @indypedcrisis.info

I love this photo, posted by the Speedway Trails Group today on Facebook (www.facebook.com/SpeedwayTrails) showing a portion of the still-under-construction B&O Trail "gap" segment. West-siders are so excited to see this trail open for use later this summer. See ALT for details and location. #bike

Lowlights: * Only 1 per day hand-edited forecasts * Permanent 1 per day balloon launches if 25%+ vacancy at office * No balloon launches if an office goes to 3 shifts/day * Reduced shifts * Combining offices The world's example for weather services is being destroyed.

The new Sleigh Bells album goes incredibly hard

The kid in front of me on the airplane from Houston to Indianapolis just coughed so hard he threw up. Awesome.

Republicans in Wisconsin have been silent on the Musk giveaway — but the RNC has warned a group they cannot give ice cream to college students.

Be as passionate about something as a child is over the toys they haven’t looked at in 5 years that you’re about to donate.

Sen. Banks - Indiana's new Senator - did not even face a primary challenge, as his predecessor left to become Gov., and I guess no one else in the party wanted to contest him. Not thrilled with the contempt displayed here. Calling his office is also the only time I felt dismissed when calling a rep

Tired of sky-high infrastructure costs? Shrink the asphalt, add greenery, and give people more ways to move. It’s cheaper, safer, and your city looks like it cares about people instead of just cars.

There will never be a bell loud enough, a helmet strong enough or clothing bright enough to make up for poor infrastructure.

Visual metaphor for the state of non-vehicular travel in Indianapolis

Beavers see an unhealthy stream and are like I can fix him

indy bike friends--if you see my very good friend's Veloci Jimmy, please pass on the word. poor guy just got this bike like three months ago.
