Today’s work lunch & learn, food is from Naf Naf-an Israeli chain that makes “middle eastern” food. I didn’t pay for it but I still have reservations about eating their food. After all they are culturally appropriating regional cuisine while the country they are from murders people of the region.

Trump’s anti-trans Executive Order is bad BUT it technically defines everyone as female. It states: “'Female' means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell." Since all fetuses "at conception" are female, Trump just defined EVERYONE as female.

Fuck the US government. Fuck both horrible parties. They banned TikTok because they’re afraid of not being able to control the narrative. It is beyond disgusting. They ruined people’s livelihoods, communities, friendships. Fuck them all.

Our government always pushes the idea that we have so much freedom. They make a big deal of how media, press, books, etc are banned in other countries because they restrict freedom. Then the majority of them vote to ban TikTok. Our government is full of fascistic hypocrites.

Dua Lipa uses her fame in a good way at times. She is however not a very good singer (my opinion of course). There is a carpool karaoke special with her, Chappell Roan and Lady Gaga on Apple TV and you can hear the difference between them and her. Studio magic does a lot for pop stars.

Something missing in all these obituaries of Jimmy Carter is his book Palestine: Peace not Apartheid. He wrote it in 2006 and, sadly, it still holds up.
