Hey #ttrpg folks! A couple quick poll-like questions for you: - What were the first two ttrpgs you played? - Do you remember either of these games fondly? Do you still play them? Have you outgrown them? Feel free to reply here or quote post to spread the poll!

I much prefer the old Christmas classics songs to more recent songs. I think the threshold is if the song was recorded at a time where you could smoke in hospitals, it's probably a classic.

One of my favorite thing to do is to intersect different fields or disciplines to get a fresh perspective. In software development, we tend to think of data and behavior as two different things, and they tend to be decoupled as much as possible. 🧵 #TTRPG #OSR

When you select a tutorial to learn a specific concept in web development, and that tutorial starts by installing twelve different packages that all require learning. Web development is so difficult to get into. It's an orobouros of technologies and concepts.

Been lurking both the forum for a while. Interesting place for sure!

When your brain is bubbling with ideas, I find that the biggest challenge is sorting these ideas and coalescing them into projects. Sometimes a concept for a project is actually two different games. Sometimes two games should be merged into one project. #TTRPG

This is probably one of my favorite things I have drawn in the past few years. All my D&D characters since I've started playing, except the last one which I created this year. They all had an impact on me in a lot of different ways. I hope to do the same for the other RPGs I've played.

That's tough. I think this list would probably change from month to month. But at the moment my top 5 #TTRPG would be... • Traveller • Burning Wheel • Cairn • Electric Bastionlands • Ultraviolet Grasslands
