Who are the specific people that come up with this bullshit?

Yes. Use the data while you can. They will be tearing down all the federally published sources of data soon, too.

You are right. They want transform civil rights into “woke ideology”. No, those are still civil rights. Don’t make people fight for them again.

Good article thank you

I agree 100%. But you can influence the change in worldview of humans by creating the conditions for change in people and environment. We need more exploration and innovation around this.

Cool! I was a student of Hanshi Seikichi Iha, and met Oshiro in 2016. I started to learn Yammani Ryu with Bo, but only scratched the surface.

And also how reading again to think about how to identify "lever points" John H Holland discusses. He said there is no theory that tells us where or how to look for "lever points" in complex adaptive systems, but what if there were such a theory?

But this time, I am also reading it again to try to inquire why identifiable "boundaries" exist and emerge into our existence in the first place? And also, how a "signal" maybe probably starts out as an unintentional information broadcasting, but then over time become intentional (and how)?

I read it some years ago, and it gave me a good framework for thinking about how to model what he is calling "signals and boundaries" in complex adaptive systems.

I have a feeling over time it will change. Just need to put in some time over here.

@ming.bsky.social yeah my head says that too, but I have been in more of a groove in recent months over there. Maybe I'll try some here, some there each week

Let’s destroy the government like a business that is taken over by private equity and broken up to sell off for scrap.

Over here at supabase we are getting closer to incorporation of github.com/orioledb/ori... which an efficiently use s3 as a backend for postgres. So it will also be interesting to experiment with that

@zimbatm.bsky.social thanks My current proof of concept is just storing the data for the package itself (src, sha256 hash, buildPhase etc) . I am hoping that by Jan/Feb 2025 I'll also store .drv and .narinfo in postgres too + alter nix itself to use postgres to access that data.

They also harassed this one down the street, normally a safe haven for people of color, lgbqt+ people etc this time they showed up with guns in holsters. www.facebook.com/pages/Ruby's...

Europe needs to get busy uniting and consolidating defense that doesn't rely on US. I'd prefer the US backed the EU/NATO, but since in reality it probably won't, there's time for Europe to act now.

Personally, I like github.com/gin-gonic/gin

I’d love to be added to this as I post about complex systems science, collaboration and cooperation

Everyone is actually playing “tragedy of the commons”, and the only way to win is to know you’re playing that game.

I wouldn't mind being in this one. Been exploring OCaml + the support of it via Nix

I wonder what it would take to build it on top of @supabase
comment in response to post
I would love to be added to that one if you agree. I am currently working on supabase.com/blog/nix-pos... and have worked on nixos commercial applications, and in the past worked at a startup building a product around nix
