Kam mir auch! Seelentrost dieser Gedanke! Aber ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass der Herbert irgendwelche für die ÖVP untragbaren Forderungen stellt. Es geht ihm um die Macht. Das macht die Sache aber nicht prickelnder. Vorallem wenn die ÖVP all ihre wirtschftl. + "sozialen" Ideen durchbringt.

Yes, so back to the issue. I'm quite sure those people or organizations applied for a pardon and that biden them on his desk. So why wouldn't he just sign it?! the answer is that his son is just closer to him. Period. That's understandable, but still hypocrisy how he framed it.

well, but the system isn't fixed yet. he has got a staff and there are organizations campaigning for the release of individuals. its not as if he has to do the research into each case himself. the system is broken, but those people are dead if you wait the system to be changed

And what about the many innocent people on death row? If he had truly meant to rectify the injustices of the legal system, he could have pardoned them as well.
