Basic method is an estimate of how long you need on average, then calculate minimum wage whereever you are.
Dont charge less than that, never under sell yourself!

compared to our worlds geography they would live in a similar environment of germany/france in ~17 - 1800s. So similar costs and restrictions I imagine. They also trade with southern countries and islands
