It's true most people can't leave, but it's still true that a large number of people with dual citizenship or with skills that are in demand are. They wanted people to "self deport" and many are. Just not the groups they intend.

Maybe be but it is still happening.
And many families exist because they left Germany in the 30s. They were probably told the same thing.

People have to go where they can work and are valued.
And it is the federal workers who have been abandoned. Not the other way around.

What does that mean?

However it plays out...this is going to end very badly for us and other democracies. There are no good options.

I know. And after the vaccine was released the majority that died were MAGA covid deniers.
They are MAGA because they're NOT Brain Trusts.

I'm of the belief that much of what is happening now is meant to provoke major unrest so he can deploy the military. He wants to know they will do it. It's another test. He wanted to his last term. IF (and that is an "if") the military complies, the coup will be over and successful.

Yep. Just like last time. I will never understand how well over a MILLION Americans died under his first term and it's never mentioned.

Yes, this will eventually end. But like Trump 1.0 MANY Americans, well north of a million, did not survive.

The brain drain is real. I know people who have already left the US or are in the process.
Other countries are welcoming and benefiting from our insane purge of high level expertise.
And they should.

Everyone seems to have amnesia that well over a million Americans died under Trumps first watch. He dosen't care. He was only worried with how it made him look.

You're a kindred spirit. When Bannon came onto the scene in 16 he had the signs of a heavy drinker. I thought we should have raised $365K to send him a $1000 bottle of the world's best scotch every day that he couldn't resist. It would be the cheapest way to get rid of him and of his own doing.

"Ketamine can cause strong mood and mind effects. People who take ketamine may experience changes in how they perceive reality, including intense feelings of either dissolving into or being entirely disconnected from their environment."

I have that issue with just 1 peice. A georgous peice of black, white and clear swirl glass that every time go to use i become paralyzed because I can't make that decision. So I put it back and use another peice. I've had that glass since 1996. LOL. I may just have to frame it as is. 😊

2 of them did. Repeadly. People didn't listen. It was a free election. (Possibly the last) But the collective WE did this to ourselves. The majority who voted for this are on board. What do you expect the past presidents to do? #selfinflictedwound
There is no calvary. We are it.

This sounds plausible. But can you post the actual data source. A Google search only produced other social media posts.

Gosh, such pessimism, I mean it's still early! There is an excellent chance that it won't even rank as one of the stupidest things that will happen today.

Sandler's performance for me was the highlight. But that the whole event was a party and celebration for them, inside jokes and all. It was awesome!!
