Wow.

Ah. I know Montauk, Pawcatuck, Pawtucket but not Pautauk!
comment in response to post
Wait, what?? I'm not watching GH but I'm from RI - did they really mention Pawtucket? And why? I can't imagine Tracy, or any GH character ever needing to go to Pawtucket!

Who's going to sweep the forest floor?

Trump spent the equivalent of Yosemite's annual budget in just two days with his trip to the SuperBowl and Daytona. Maybe Elon will advise that he just watch it on TV next time.

I was wondering if that was because he wants them to be our 51st state, so Trudeau would be Governor
comment in response to post
Agreed. The public would be much better served if resources were used for investigative journalism and analysis rather than to recapture all of Trump's endless drivel

Why is Congress doing NOTHING as he usurps your powers and stages a couple? Why ask questions on Bluesky instead of giving answers? The moment requires leadership - where is it?
comment in response to post
Oh my God. He can barely speak and seems so confused.he sounds like a drunk, frankly

You're not smelling the corruption happening right under your nose. Elon, one of the biggest recipients of gov't money is going to hold the purse strings, as a payback for funding Trump. Trump will build his Gaza French Riviera for rich people. Corruption.

You are no conservative. A conservative wouldn't celebrate the Constitution being trampled

If it turns out to be white male pilot error will they blame the patriarchy or white supremacy? I won't hold my breath.

Whoops, there goes your country whilst you were seeking liberal tears

I knew the procedure was going to be an endoscopy. Same thing happened to me. It was awful, I woke up gagging as they tried to force the camera down. I don't think they properly anesthetize for that; they use a twilight drug that they claim makes you not remember it.

Why does a former South African, now American citizen give a fuck about German politics and identity? Assuming they're not a Nazi, I mean...

What does that mean, a buy-in at Costco? I don't have TikTok - or Costco in my state, for that matter

So it's not "You're like a geisha doll"? I wasted so much time trying to figure out REM lyrics in the early 80s! Chronic Town and Murmur were like foreign languages.

Much respect for covering local soccer, thank you.

Competency and experience matter. You know what also does? Can you be blackmailed? Pete fails on both scores. He's never been in charge of a large department, was forced to step down from the non- profits he ran due to fiscal mismagement, and his extra marital affairs make him a security risk.

He's just ridiculous in different ways. The enemy of my enemy isn't necessarily my friend; sometimes they're just another bad guy.

My parents had an entertainment center like that. Solid wood and gd heavy! I think they were pretty proud that it was "real" furniture, and not a new TV sitting on top of the old dead floor model.

Me too! I guess it's my Mandela Effect. Maybe we were thinking of Phyllis Scafely?

I'm on both but I'm not ready to delete my Twitter acct even though I don't spend much time there anymore. One thing that broke my habit is I put the Bluesky app on the 1st screen where X was, and buried X further in.

For real?

Me too. That's been the most shocking part of this all; they were supposed to be the guardrail, but they didn't even make much of an effort at making a pretense.

What part of the speech was a lie? Or is the criticism that a politician should know they have to lie?

How can anyone be such an obsequious bootlicker? Not a drop of shame.

So now you are pro Hate? Seems like you hold no strong values

I never said he could, silly.
comment in response to post
It's very different. Ford trucks actually work and you can't cut yourself on them
comment in response to post
Oh, you're the same fellow decrying all the hate in a post up above.Guess you didn't really mean it
comment in response to post
You asked who cares about it and I answered. I do believe that a person's character counts though. If you're a known liar and cheater, only concerned with your self gratification, why would we put you in a position of power?

O+ is the most common blood type but O- is rare. I remember learning that when Reagan was shot and for some reason it stuck with me

I've got a question about prosecuting the documents case in Florida - couldn't it have been done in DC? I feel like with any other judge, Trump would have been convicted of that a while back

His ex wife, his kids, the babysitter he sexually assaulted, the women who picked up stds (probably) from him

Vivek doesn't realize he IS the bureaucracy now. Creating a whole dept to trim the fat, make it make sense!

LOVED Laura & Stefan. They started out hot, Mulcahy was a great writer for them but then Lucky died and they seemed to lose interest and direction for SnL.

How was it overwhelming? He won by 1.6%. That's the 5th smallest margin of victory ever. He didn't get a majority. How can you call a 1% victory overwhelming? I have no idea why he thinks it's "historic".
comment in response to post
There were so many unacceptable things that wouldn't fly today. Like Laura was already married at 17 to a law student (and Genie at 17 was dating Kin, 26). Then Laura gets raped by a man 15 years older and they become so popular that the show begins calling it "that night we made love".
