Game 4- Final Fantasy VII. For much of my life I have been a contrarian of this game. Although I still have a few of my own issues I do think what they achieved with this game from top to bottom was pretty spectacular. Not one of my favorites, but I was fool - its legacy is fully deserved.

Incredible art. A single tear for Multiversus Harley though. Cool to see her there.

It is really an excellent take on the series. The Party Games are really surprisingly well done in it too. Spent a ton of time with this during school lunches.

I fully believe there is a market for everything. I do however also think there are just so many good games now that core strengths of games like that (such as replay value) are harder to justify when players are less interested in mastering games and more interested in just having a good time.

Game 3- Avowed. Incredible world art and traversal (almost like a platformer!), super fun combat style and structure. Treasure in this game feels a bit basic but scouring the world for it is uniquely fun. I hope this comes to PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 too, it feels like a future cult classic.

My friend uses an Elgato HD60 to stream retro stuff to our friend group. Gets the job done, no complaints.

If anything I think it is great when devs are allowed to go in fun, unexpected directions with established characters. I cannot even imagine how scared the team was to ask for the greenlight with Pauline here.

I played Sonic Adventure at launch and always loved Big the Cat. I do really appreciate the non-standard body type characters in the series, which is why I am more positive to characters like Zavok, Zazz and Zeena than most.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale being made up of about half serial killers was so funny to me. This is their family party game?!

Game 2- Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. In terms of storytelling and writing I was pretty disappointed with this (a worrying trend with RGG...), but otherwise I was smiling all the way through. Loved the musical segments, the ship battles and I loved all of the callbacks to Yakuza 4!

Game 1- Metaphor: ReFantazio. I loved this! Even with as streamlined as some aspects were I did find the typical Persona bloat in places to be a bit frustrating. Great story that had me guessing for most of it, though I was a little mixed with the closing hours. I gotta draw Junah and Heismay!

Within friend circles I am really well known for not completing RPGs. Theres a few I have beaten numerous times like Skies of Arcadia, Mass Effect, Shining Force II and Like a Dragon games but otherwise my arcade gaming mentality pushes me to just try out games more than stay with them all the way.
