I went birding and stumbled on this black back of a wild boar in the ferns (2nd photo). She didn't notice me and I didn't want to come between her and the piglets so I whistled. She looked at me before taking off with six piglets in pyjamas 💚 It's quite unusual to get so close #wildboar #sandemar

Bird box update A week ago my new bird box was empty (first photo). Great tit checked it out a week ago. The last two are from this morning Now at least three eggs. I'm enthralled. I hadn't understood how quickly they settle in. She layed more than one egg a day. #birds #greattit #talgoxe
