I'm not sure why that is such a big memory for me on that trip. Maybe it's because it was unique to me. Do you have unique-to-you moments that make your heart sing?

Several years ago in Hawaii, I would wake before sunrise, make coffee, and walk down to the stone wall to watch night turn to day. The stars were beautiful, and I navigated around many wandering snails. By the time others made their way to the beach, only ghost trails remained.

I'm torn between the two versions. And the rain comes down in that format has a beautiful beat of rain. And then the imagery of purple irises dancing is so fun and upbeat. Like they know the benefits of the rain. Not that I need to choose. I will just love them both.

I love our walks together.

I just love that I am there with you through this haiku. You have made time and distance disappear.

I love this. Did you know that they migrate for more light rather than due to the cold or lack of food resources? In Illinois they usually arrive about October 15th and leave about April 15th. They are a wonderful harbinger of the changing seasons.

Thanks for watching my video.

I love this. It is a time of change. A time of waking the sleeping Phoenix. A time to bring back the color to the world. Have you read Jasper Fforde's Shades of Grey and Red Side Story?

Yesterday was tough. I think I was pulled up by the roots, LOL.

Thank you. We had a beautiful sunset Friday evening while I was driving past the dormant fields.

Beautiful. Wing-weary geese. Love that line.

Good morning! I mean good afternoon. Another lovely haiku. I feel the dampness and hear the chickadees.

I love the breath of winter. I just know it will be cold and even surprising.

This has been a blast. I may need to take a break. Fatigue is making it hard to think. Thank you for responding with a haiku reply.

I like Inshot. It's like $20 a year. I have it on my iPad to edit gifs I create in procreate. I've mashed a bunch of videos, added musics, icons, b-rolls. But mostly, I use to cut out my bloopers, and add some music. I think you can get it for you Mac.

I joined you from my spot on this earth this morning. Just sitting with my coffee looking out the window. Winter rising sun unveiled torn batting cloud strips. Warm dreams. Windy chill.

Thank you! I struggle with them. Not enough practice. Writing a haiku and making abdrawing for them may be just what I need to learn them.

It looks so soft and is as beautiful as your haiku.

Beautiful! I live seeing your part of the world through your eyes.

Well done, you! We have to love ourselves first. It's amazing the kind of love that shows up from others when we are able to love who we are and let it shine in the world.

That was the biggest vacation we ever took. All others were to cottages on lakes. No regrets, but I suspect that was why we stayed at such a fancy place. I remember the little water slide in the pool. Thanks for bringing back memories.

So glad you had such a wonderful vacation, and you have this treasured memory of your mom. In 1973, we stayed at the Polynesian Village. Here's the mug I brought home. Not sure it ever had coffee in it. I was just 10 years old.

One of my favorite mugs. My girlfriend gave me this mug as a gift for my new #camper and #campinglife. Perfect size mug for my morning coffee and breakfast.
