Somebody somewhere Needs an endless field of flowers tonight

I’m especially loving the “Coumadin Clinic” listed here too.

I wish I could have been a fly on the wall the moment a 19 year old DOGEbag got access to the VA system only to realize the VA still uses VISTA - a proprietary MUMPS-based programming language from 1978.

Whenever I watch basketball I swear I spend half the game just googling how tall each player is and being amazed. #goBulls #NBAsky

What a different world we could have.

This is THE NEWS of the day/month/week The US gov spent more in President Trump’s first month in office than it did in the same period the previous year, signaling that his cost-cutting efforts have yet to reduce the nation’s substantial fiscal obligations, per Reuters analysis of federal data

Weekly pep talk: For federal employees- 1) do your job well because the work you do matters. 2) don’t violate the law and give them an easy reason to target you. This includes the Hatch Act. 3) treat coworkers, subordinates, and supervisors kindly- this crap is hurting everyone. 4) take breaks.

What’s wasteful is ordering feds to explain their jobs instead of letting them DO their jobs.

“If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” A classic quote from Malcolm X, who was assassinated 60 years ago today.

We can’t wait to do big things to #resist. Start where you are and do what you can. If all you can do is love your peeps and make it through the day with your head held high, do that! As AOC attests, no act of kindness is ever wasted—spread the love we all need. Serve the people not the king.

You know, last year when I wrote a book about the moon turning into cheese, I didn't know that when it came out the most fantastical thing about it would be a functional US government

FOR OBVIOUS REASONS, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE UP TO DATE ON YOUR VACCINATIONS NOW.

This recipe called for 2 cloves of garlic it’s like a homeopathic recipe I guess I put in 11

Reminder: They're trying to demoralize you, and they're doing a great job of it. Part of resisting is making time for joy despite the attempts to make you feel this is not the time for it. Love your people. Dig the art that speaks to you. Go to the places where life flows into you. You deserve joy.
