Guys, it's the oligarchs. If you want to blame someone for 2024, blame the oligarchs. Anyone telling you to blame someone else is part of the oligarchy. Dark money has been to blame since citizens united.

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

The House passed legislation to prohibit federal district judges from issuing nationwide injunctions, marking a significant step in an escalating Republican campaign targeting judges who have blocked some of Trump’s executive orders.

My favourite library quote is from newsman Walter Cronkite: ‘Whatever the cost of our libraries, the price is cheap compared to that of an ignorant nation’

There’s no denying it anymore: the pro-democracy movement is finally back on offense. Trump’s presidency is an unmitigated disaster. MAGA is imploding under the weight of its own lies, grifts, and failures. They’re not strong—they’re desperate. They’re flailing. And they know it.

The is no limit to how much brutality the Trump admin is willing to allow Russia to get away with. They have never once condemned a single atrocity committed by Putin. Trump played golf while this happened and didn’t say a word about it.

This is super smart Steve. Wish I had thought of it first ! Stocks have been crushed. The next trump move is uncertain. Best move ? Buy back stock. No question about it

The Shining City on a Hill has turned into a steaming pile of shit.

Now This Is An Excellent Idea!

Worst two-day stock market crashes in the U.S. by percentage loss: 1. 1929 (the Great Depression) 2. 1987 (Black Monday) 3. 2008 (the Great Recession) 4. YESTERDAY AND TODAY And while this happened, the man responsible for it was golfing and dining with enemies of America.

States are losing billions in federal childhood vaccine funding, undermining their ability to fight infectious diseases and stop, for example, the current measles outbreak. www.axios.com/2025/04/04/c...

Mark Kelly: "This is not surprising. Here's a guy who told Americans to inject bleach into their bodies, who sent a mob to Capitol Hill. And now I think it's fair to say he stands out as singlehandedly destroying more wealth with his bad decisions than anybody else who has ever lived on this planet"

Tell me again why we’re letting a 78 year old, legit smelly, odorous, frail, loser old man who bankrupted a CASINO bankrupt the country? Congress? Any answers?

The tariffs are catastrophic. But so too are the abuses of power, so is the corruption, so are the police state tactics, so is the destruction of our health care infrastructure, so are the ways our national security is being endangered, so are the attacks on our core freedoms.

If we had a functional Congress there would have already been articles of impeachment drawn up for the mere suggestion of crashing the global economy and taking away Congressional powers to control the budget by firing people administering programs Congress created.

"My message to the rest of the Democratic Party is if you are not willing to meet that bar, then step aside for somebody who will. Because we're at a moment right now where we do need people who are willing to fight, willing to show some spine, willing to break through in this media environment."

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory. Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

I think the remarkable thing about Cory Booker's speech is that much of it is *a good speech*. He's not just filling time, he's using time while the spotlights on him.

Thank you Senator Cory Booker. This guy truly cares about the people he represents.

I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

What horseshit from DOD that they "mistakenly" deleted pages on the Navajo Code Talkers, black Medal of Honor recipients, Jackie Robinson, and more. They labeled them DEI and deleted them and then got caught and now they're scrambling. Nobody changes a URL by mistake. Constant lies.

I’m the Canadian who was detained by ICE for two weeks. It felt like I had been kidnapped. I was stuck in a freezing cell without explanation despite eventually having lawyers and media attention. Yet, compared with others, I was lucky.

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific. If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

The people Attorney General Bondi is calling “terrorists” have had no trial and no chance to defend themselves. We do not know who they are. Ignoring the Constitution does not make us safe. It puts us all in peril.

Just saw a Kristi Noem commercial spending taxpayer money to promote herself and thank Trump. If we want to DOGE something how about that corrupt garbage?

Not transgender, gay or an immigrant. He is a Trump advisor.

Government is close to shutting down and Soeaker Johnson just send everyone home for two weeks

I’m so confused as to what laws and regulations are being enforced these days… Isn’t this a violation of the Hatch Act? 🤬🤬

BREAKING: USAID is required to keep track of the records they destroy. @nationalsecuritylaw.org and my podcast network @mswmediapods.bsky.social have filed a FOIA request to ensure the Trump administration has complied with the law and USAID regulations.

If I could speak to billionaires quivering in fear, I would ask: Is the risk of losing some money worth sacrificing your dignity? If I could speak to Republican politicians, I would ask: Is the risk of losing an election worth being remembered as a coward?

I'm just saying...

One of my companies informed me they cancelled a $2m conference in Florida. Why ? They didn’t feel they could pass on the incremental cost of tariffs. So they are cutting expenses. That’s a city that lost a ton of tourism revenue. The cost of tariffs isn’t just the cost of the tariff

What a different world we could have.

Make America Great Again? America was great when it: •had allies •helped the downtrodden •defended the defenseless •was affordable •welcomed the unwashed masses •protected its natural beauty •was home of the free and the brave •was admired far and wide •was the "dream" We are no longer great.

BREAKING: SpaceX's Starship EXPLODES, causing FAA to halt flights at 4 major airports The previous Starship also exploded, in January THIS is why FAA probed SpaceX for safety And THIS is why Musk has been trying to kill FAA - and why he should NOT get any more govt contracts

What he said about Social Security payments has been repeatedly debunked - so the question isn’t whether he’s lying about this, the question is why. What is this a pretext for? He and the GOP have long shown interest in going after Social Security. What are they going to try?

Trump’s speech to Congress was filled with a litany of lies to divide Americans and distract us from his failed economy and unpopular plans. It was all spectacle and no substance, just like everything he does.
