Do some urban foraging you can drizzle on your pancakes.

This is the ultimate dick boss move from Musk - except he isn’t even the boss, he’s just a dick.

Stop mass deportations with this one simple trick: wapo.st/41apYFB (gift link)

But why? It’s a mystery!

I wish more people were talking about egg prices as less of a “muh egg prices!” thing and more about the fact that there is an organized egg cartel that is illegally price gouging and almost certainly illegally price fixing and reaping massive, gigantic profits.

In every single interview I’ve done with international media since Trump took power I’ve been asked: Why are there no mass protests? There are many reasons, of course, but the utter refusal of the self-proclaimed “fourth estate” to communicate clearly what is happening has to be high on the list.

Between this and his comments to the governor of Maine it looks clear that he is using unconstitutional coercion/extortion to compel policy outcomes at the state level that his office doesn’t give him the authority to dictate.

hey, look at this. read it, reskeet this, like this, and do it as well. it's about trans people and passports. take it seriously. thank you!

I've contacted my credit union and Visa so far, but need to expand that.

Why aren't (most) Democrats responding as is required to the hostile takeover of our government? They are presently only hearing from their customers (voters) and not the people who hired them (donors). Corporate America is so far quiet about the coup. Want Dems to step up? Pressure their donors.

Thinking about Trump declaring himself King over interfering with NYC congestion pricing, I think the people saying it's just trolling need to familiarize themselves with the idea of Ha Ha Only Serious. It's like the frat jokes that are only joking unless you agree and then he's totally on board.

The DOGE firings have nothing to do with “efficiency” or “cutting waste.” They’re a direct push to weaken federal agencies perceived as liberal. This was evident from the start, and now the data confirms it: targeted agencies overwhelmingly those seen as more left-leaning. 🧵⬇️

Public comment is now open for passport gender marker changes. You can go here to go to each of the three proposed passport rules, and submit comment. My suggestion: be unique, argue for trans-inclusive policies, against the constitutionality of the changes, etc. www.reddit.com/r/Passports/...

Ok, but real talk? The sort of low-engagement persuadable Trump voter you need to flip is not going to sit through a serious policy argument, and would not understand it if they did. “He’s calling himself a king” they can understand. So run with it.

“I am a king and my will is law” isn’t a clever distraction from what he’s doing, it’s the central underlying justification for everything he’s doing.

I've reached the "all you can do is laugh" stage.

"America has no king" seems like a good theme to rally around

Please stop saying it saved money until you understand the value of what was cut. They are downsizing, and if the stuff getting cut had real value, its not a saving.

Oh wow. That one's going to hit hard in Minnesota.

Thanks for the amazing graphic!!!!!

ATTENTION FEDS Judge Chutkin won't block Musk's federal worker firings because "'possibility' that defendants may take actions that irreparably harm plaintiffs is not enough" Attorneys are asking us for evidence of harm. If you have evidence contact the tipline asap. We'll provide an email address

Oh, look what normal countries do when a former president leads a far right coup attempt.

While everyone is focused on what DOGE is doing, Elon Musk is quietly spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on an April Wisconsin Supreme Court race. This race could have electoral consequences in future elections, like 2028 in a crucial swing state. Pay attention.

This new EO is a doozy, clearly written to test the constitutionality of independent agencies at the SCt. It purports to effectively bring all independent agencies - including the Fed Election Cmsn and the Fed (in part) under presidential control. Irreconcilable w/existing law full stop. /1

I've maxed out mine, but the form is still up if others haven't.

Trump's lawyers are absolutely flailing in the courts right now

Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park are HUGE moneymakers for Montana’s economy. Without park services the Montana legislature will have to figure out how to manage them. Is this all part of their plan to make our parks privately owned???

Another way this feels similar to COVID — the disaster is already unfolding but the people in charge seem to think it’ll only impact “blue” areas.

DOGE in practice: Disabled Army veteran who has 4 kids and did 3 tours overseas is fired from his job at Bronx VA hospital

These are the GOP members of the House Ways and Means Committee--THEY'RE some of the people hiding while DOGE disrupts Medicare/Medicaid and NIH funding. If they are YOUR representative, consider a visit to their LOCAL OFFICE this week, while they're home, to explain why they need to oversee DOGE.

Inspector General audit: From 2015 to 2022, Social Security sent out $71.8 billion "in improper payments, most of which were overpayments" — out of $8.6 trillion in benefits, an error rate of 0.84%.

When I saw @bookprotectors, my first thought was some kind of anti-censorship library protection squad, but no.

In 2024, Wisconsin’s supreme court ruled 4-3 to bring back drop boxes before the presidential election. If conservatives win in April, that decision could be revisited. boltsmag.org/wiscons...

I worked on this story for a decade and he just said it out loud on Fox News

And it's not even just the direct firings! There's already starting to be downstream layoffs, like this one at Lutheran Social Services, which Musk personally targeted. www.startribune.com/lutheran-soc...

This is going to be exactly what every Republican administration tries to do to everything: pay more to outsource it to private companies that do a bad job. But this time we're going to get a bunch of air disasters out of it.

I keep hearing G.K. Chesterton as I observe the Trump administration: "Brave men are all vertebrates. They have their softness on the surface and their toughness in the middle. But these modern cowards are all crustaceans; their hardness is all on the cover, and their softness is inside."

BREAKING: Elon Musk is now trying to buy Wisconsin’s state Supreme Court majority. Election is on April 1—the first statewide election of the new Trump/Musk era. Musk wants to own state-level courts to thwart any possible check on their coup. Help us fight back. secure.actblue.com/donate/wisde...
