Finally, argues that the bigger looming threat is disinformation. I don't think she is wrong here. It's just a lot harder to fix than, say, how intelligence flows up and down the chain.

Interestingly, I asked a few family members from SK what they'd call this phenomenon and they didn't report back a specific word.

In a (brief) fit of minimalism, I debated ditching our DVD collection, and I'm so glad I didn't. I often wonder how much more electricity streaming takes than just playing a DVD.

I agree, that maximum seems reasonable but I keep my house at 18 in the winter and it's quite comfortable. 21 feels too warm.

Thank you for comparing eBikes to cars! They can absolutely be vehicle replacements. I've really committed to winter cycling this year and am enjoying it more than I expected (it's been relatively mild, but still).

Awww. I had a big grey goofball that looked exactly like this. He walked on a leash better than most small dogs and stole food at every opportunity. I still miss him.

Also - car seats! They make it almost impossible to rideshare or carpool. I'm not saying they're not necessary, but they force driving your own car for a long while because installing them properly is such a colossal pain. My kids love the cargo bike in part because they're not stuck in a carseat.

Awesome! My kids love the cargo bike. So much more freedom of movement than sitting in a carseat.
