On a positive note, she also cited the recent reports that the senate phone system is getting 1600 calls per minute (40x the normal amount). This really helps boost moral for her and her cohorts - helping them stay strong in the face of so much adversity. They/we need that! Keep it up!

Cut to Aug 2024. Yes, *2024*. Me and my husband are quibbling over the cost of bagged salad vs. buying the ingredients and chopping them yourself. I go out to the mailbox. Yay! A green WGA residuals envelope! I bring it in, and we joke about how it might enough to buy one head of romaine.
