It’s #SuperbOwl Sunday. I’m boycotting all the men running into each other in accordance with weird customs. (Special teams? WTF?) Instead, I plan to search for Superb Owls on the interwebs. Hint: they are all superb!

Like many animals that can fly, the #SuperbOwl has gyro-stabilized neck movements to allow it to maintain focus on prey in flight. They're not unique in this, but they are superb! This little guy is in a rescue for head trauma from a car strike. You can see the pupils don't match (anisocoria).

Sarcastic Labrador and I are chillin’. FYI, she’s also known as Shiny Labrador (for obvious reasons) and Stealth Labrador (for when she creeps up behind me in the kitchen at night in an apparent attempt to kill me.) Sometimes Sleeping Labrador. Always, she’s my girl.
