If he stays, they have precedent that people with legal status can be sent there if the government just doesn’t let the courts know about it until it’s happened. They’ll have won a get-out-of-due-process-free card.

Nah, needs a bullet list after that. Of whom, in order, will be held in contempt unless actions are taken and reports made to the court. Let them know to pack their bags for staying a few nights, not travel out of the country, etc.

They do have rights. That’s constitutional. If you don’t like that, go somewhere there aren’t rights. And they’re less likely to harm me than everyday Americans, so not sure what the threat there is.

Black womens? In OUR military meritocracy? Rising to skilled positions? Must be DEI. /s

Because it suspends due process and torches the Constitution. Next question?

Love to see your citations! Also note the many many economists who note our tarrifs are ridiculous- for example, how do countries that do not have any tarrifs on or goods deserve this? Many of these countries have free trade agreements with the US. Some are uninhabited.

Where do you get the real Cadbury? I love Carmellos, but they have US versions now and they are… not so good.

Maybe the US should regulate its food better and have more quality then.

They don’t screw us over on tarrifs. Literally we went way over their numbers.

There is a small shipping cost difference, but yes.

There will be a small economic spike as millions worldwide all go get a bottle of wine/cider or go get the fancy tea they’ve been eyeing.

We tried to be better and added protections against internment camps on us soil… someone had to go looking for loopholes.

That’s how the Maryland guy got deported- if ANY judge or court officer had spoken to him or read his file, they’d have seen that he had legal status to stay AND work. It’s annoying to have an admin skim through all the paperwork, but it’s important.

Some latinos have already begun doing that- or putting a copy of birth certificate in their small child’s backpack, in case the school is raided and the child caught up without the parent there.

Is… that supposed to be an answer?

What makes them gang tattoos? According to ICE any tattoo is.

Also, a judge found in court that his life had been threatened by “that gang” as a way to blackmail his parents. Thus the order was literally because he provided evidence that “that gang” had said they would kill him first chance they got.
comment in response to post
If. There was never any evidence provided, and in fact there was evidence against the claim (the claim was he was a member of the NYC chapter, but he’s never even been to NYC). The only claim was made anonymously from a (possibly paid) informant. Also no, he had a judge’s order blocking.

A lot of libraries have it, but note that they are novellas (smaller books) and addicting.

How will he come back? He is wrongfully improsoned. He had legal right to live and work in the US.
comment in response to post
Just one? I’d same many or most. This is just one where a judge had a preexisting do not touch order.

Trump’s goons are playing tic tac toe, so… wait, are we x or o? And how many in a row do we need?

Do you have a link to the Atlantic article? Sounds like important context.

Are those even fans? Like, if they’re that mean, they can also just go read comics that are more to their taste. It costs 0 cents to keep scrolling. Real fans just ask for more pics of quest sprout.

He can’t do that, EOs are not law.

Saying what exactly?
comment in response to post
Except RealID does that all. The only difference is along money lines, and federal agencies being able to control it without legal recourse.

Okay… costs a bunch of money and still not okay as a development.

This department enforces things like desegregation, sex equality in educational opportunities, and such. Conservatives want it gone and to have religious instruction in public schools (currently has to be opt-in only).

Also, it’s only “public” once it’s in a public trash can or pickup unit. They got this from him on private property.

Issue being he had no other options- police had to give him food and water legally, that does mot imply consent for DNA. If this is held as legal, the rights of every American are at risk.
comment in response to post
Yeah, as part of the evidence gathering for this I hope the exact same records are read into the court evidence.

This tells me we want to know what would have been in that requested lump of info. It’s in the public interest that we now all know.
