Yeah, my family fled in 1919 I believe during the white terror where 550,000 people were killed by the white army (300,000 for being suspected communist sympathisers and 250,000 in anti Semitic mass executions and pogroms) they were from western Russia

Actually that's how my family came to the US, during the Russian civil war Russian monarchists attacked the village where they lived believing that they were "Jewish communists" so not wanting to die they ended up immigrating to the US

Still though the Iranian government is extremely evil and I'm not going to cry when government officials of Iran die but this was a totally unacceptable escalation by Israel
