My family went to went to a UU church service once. We ended up coming home with a kitten, from a guy who has three kittens in a birdcage. We never ended up going back, but I think we got what needed there😄

I’m confused (by the retweets post. Not your comment). I remember hearing the 1 in 10 statistic when I was a a baby dyke, back in the late 90s. How can it be new since 2012?

So would I😄 Though I imagine it operating less as a religion/cult and more as a non-profit community aid organization.

If a character is cheating on a partner with the love interest, that definitely ruins a romance story for me. I want to be able to root for the ultimate ship!

Because you TOTALLY asked for this… and MapQuest has NOTHING better to do… We’ve granted you exclusive access to a place very dear to our heart: gulfof.mapquest.com Think of it as the Upside Down but more... minimalist. Pls share so we can behold your genius (or judge you, lovingly) 😘

Why in the name of god would they DESTROY the remaining tests?? I mean, I know why, but what is the excuse they are giving to make it seem not malicious?

I am torn between hoping the hope that these officials will come back promptly so we don’t all die and the hope that they drive a hard enough bargain to make the administration that fired them regret their life choices a little.

Seconded! I’ve been using bookmarks to mark things I’ve read, but that makes it impossible to find anything in my bookmarks.

Or, possibly, it’s still interesting but has just spun off into its own little genre of weird SFF romance and/erotica.

To everyone saying it is a waste of time to call your state’s attorney generals: Call ANYWAY, if you can. Or write. Or stand in front of their office with signs. A large number of people making a fuss about this sends a message, even if your state AG specifically isn’t listening.

I imprinted on the Valdemar books at a formative age and they remain my archetypal fantasy world, that anything I write is working out from.

It’s kind of surreal. The country is falling apart, the news in increasingly dire, but none of it is actually directly affecting me or my life yet.
