Im not 100% about powered USB hubs, but I remember when I was looking into them the downside was it doesn't really create more power/ USB slots, but divides an existing USB slot into more outlet points. A PCIE card on the other hand creates an entirely new hub of points for more power 😁

Definitely worth shuffling around what plugs into where on the PC in case there's too much power draw on the one hub causing it to shut down, otherwise there's a program my brother found called USBTreeView, little bit complicated to read but it removes the guesswork 😊

My brother and I actually had this problem a while back, way too many peripherals and he did some research, and the way it actually works is each USB port is part of a hub (usually a PC will have 203 of these hubs) and that hub has a power output limit! cont.

someone might be able to correct me if im wrong, but I remember a friend of mine using a "personal shopper" service in japan? bassicaly someone that lives there that gets the things you want and ships them out to you.
