"Sacrificing some of the Poors to build my empire is a sacrifice I'm willing to make. Once upon a time, the Oligarchs had to run people over themselves; at Tesla we plan to fix that problem."

You know what to do, Austin.

Except it is. This is *exactly* what you voted for. He campaigned on it, he said he was going to do it, and you facilitated him doing it.
I'd like to introduce you to this leopard...

Trek fans live in hope of a better world, thinking that this is the dark times before a new age of enlightenment is sometimes the only thing that gets us through a day.

Look, we just want to get the bad stuff behind us and move on to a better, more hopeful society.

That's foreshadowing for the thing that's revealed later about Lorca.

Tesla stock was artificially inflated to begin with & went through the roof because Musk was getting cozy with Trump; investors expected favorable treatment. Why do you think the tariffs that hit every automaker had almost no effect on Tesla? That wasn't by accident; this is correcting a problem

Certainly torched their stock price - down over $150 billion in overall value since this morning.

We knew it was going to end this way, you can't put two raging narcissists in the same room; they will try to eat each other.
This feud nourishes my soul.
Now to divide MAGA in to Camp Musk and Camp Trump so they can fight it out and destroy themselves.

I'd want to deep dive into the case and arguments, but a unanimous ruling is a rare thing (especially today), so this particular case must have been pretty egregious.

I was thinking producer because they have more control over the show's overall direction and character focus. Writers often change from episode to episode.

I'm here for this. Let's get some good writers on this and make @jerilryan.bsky.social one of the show's producers.

You expect modern Christians to actually read their own bible?
I suppose I could have ended that sentence three words early and saved us all some time.

Sure but only after plundering everything from private tax data, healthcare records, and even top secret military programs like nuclear defense and deterrence.
He got everything he wanted, and who knows what backdoor access he left himself.

The author has valid points, but the perspective is #extrovert -normative and still invalidates the #introvert as being deviant or wrong.

Douglas Adams was right - technology is amazing, but humans apply that tech in the dumbest, most infuriating, and inconvenient ways possible.
Instead of a Star Trek world where AI does the menial work allowing humans be be artists, we are trying to make AI replace creative artists.

Seeing more stories of the 1701-B and 1701-C would be nice - but I would love another DS9/Lower Decks show. Not the flagship, maybe a young officer given command of a 250 year old Miranda class running support missions like the Cerritos and some of the challenges of that type of assignment.

We need a Trek Spinoff of Pike's YouTube channel "Cooking with the Captain".

That 60-series is a thing of beauty and has at least another 100,000 miles in it - if cared for properly.

I've been known to use my multitool to fix things in the hotel room when we check in. I also carry a roll of electrical tape to cover up all the annoying LED lights on various things so I can sleep.
No, I don't think this is strange.

I'm surprised home listings in Texas aren't making a big deal out of homes with backup power solutions like battery banks or generators. Those seem like necessary features these days.
