Today the US has a new Speaker of the House. After listening to speeches given by majority leader Squeaker Mike Johnson and Hakeem Jeffries there should be no doubt in anyone’s mind who has the best interest of the American people at heart.

It’s with great sadness we heard about the passing of Jimmy Carter. He was such a good man and a true Christian. He and his dear wife led by example by always doing for those less fortunate. Thanks to the Carter family for sharing him with us. You will be in our prayers. Bless all of you.
